Tonite I want to share two of new favorite Aveda products. These are great ideas for yourself or would be perfect gift ideas with the holidays around the corner.
First item is Aveda's Himalayan Glow candle. It is a soy wax aroma candle with organic clove, vanilla, and cinnamon aroma. This candle smells amazing! It is very fragrant, but not overpowering. This aroma smells like the holidays! But wait, my favorite thing about this candle is not just the scent, but it doubles as a dry skin treatment. Yes mam. At the salon we give hand treatments all day with the wax from these candles, and let me tell ya, clients love it! First you light the candle and let it burn for a little bit, until the melted wax starts to pool up. Then, without touching the flame, dip your finger into the melted wax. The wax will be warm but not too hot to touch at all. Then rub the wax where ever needed, hands, feet, elbows, knees. It is very relaxing because the wax is warm, and very soothing from the soy wax. And my other new favorite item is Aveda's blue oil balancing concentrate.
This is a stress relieving oil that helps raise energy levels. Oh my gosh, this is like miracle oil. If you are feeling stressed out or tense, rub this oil on your temples or other pressure points like between your thumb and forefinger if you have a headache. This oil feels great on contact because it has peppermint, you will feel a cooling, tingling sensation. It actually has blue camomile for soothing and peppermint to refresh you. Or if you are feeling stressed, rub some on the palms of your hands, cup your hands together and place over your face covering your nose and mouth. Then inhale and exhale a few times, instant stress reliever! I am telling you this stuff works. I also give clients a neck and scalp massage with this oil, and everyone loves it, especially after a hard day's work. The blue oil is now in a convenient small size with a roller ball applicator. It easily fits in your pocket or purse.
